Unique Ideas for Wrapping This Year’s Christmas Presents
Let Your Kids Have More Fun Unwrapping Christmas Presents This Year
Remember how much fun unwrapping Christmas presents used to be when you were a kid? I do. I think unwrapping the Christmas presents was just as much fun (if not more fun) than actually playing with them. When you give your children their Christmas gifts this year, you might consider some unique ways to wrap the gifts. After all, there’s no reason not to add more fun to an already-fabulous Christmas tradition.
Santa Left His Sack Behind
Christmas morning children expect to see a pile of Christmas presents under the tree, but what if all of those presents were stuffed inside of Santa’s sack? Santa didn’t just leave a present or two, he left his whole sack behind! It’ll be a Christmas your children are sure to remember.
Make Them Work For It
All too often everyone is in a rush to open their Christmas presents and the moment passes all too quickly. However, there is a way to make the joy of opening Christmas presents last longer. Simply create a scavenger hunt with the Christmas gifts. Give each child a list of clues, have your children read the clues (or read them out loud to the younger children) and have fun as the kids begin to search the whole house over for their Christmas presents on Christmas morning. Kids really love this idea, and the great thing about it is that you can tailor it to any age.
Make The Memory Last
Don’t forget to take lots of pictures of your kids opening their Christmas presents. You can then create a scrapbook titled “Christmas 2006.” You can even get very comical with how you present this year’s Christmas presents. Take a small wrapped present and wrap it in a bigger box. Then wrap that box in an even bigger box. Your child or gift recipient will have to keep unwrapping until they uncover the best of their Christmas presents.
