Make Your Christmas Party a Blast with these Fun Game Ideas

Throw the best Christmas party of the season with these game ideas

Who doesn't love a Christmas party? Not too many people I know. Christmas parties are a great way to get together and add in some extra fun during the holiday season. If you're considering having a party this Christmas, don't forget the games. Here are some ideas for Christmas party games to give you ideas and make your planning easier.

Age-Appropriate Christmas Party Games

The first thing you need to consider when planning party games is the age of the guests. Choose age-appropriate games and everyone will have a good time. For the younger crowd, try Pass the Bows. This team game gets everybody talking and laughing as they try to beat the other teams to see how many bows they can pass while holding hands. Younger kids also like Find Santa's Reindeer where they race to find hidden reindeer.

Older kids enjoy playing less active games like the Stocking Christmas game. For this game, a stocking is passed around and the guests have to guess what's in it. You could even make this a prize game by giving away the gifts in the stocking to the winner. Another, more sophisticated game, for older kids is the Puzzle Mystery Christmas game

If you're planning a Christmas party for adults, whether the adults are family, your employees or coworkers, you have many options to choose from. A fun game to play is the Employee Trivia Game. About three weeks before the party, send out an email asking them questions about their life experiences (where they've lived, unusual experiences, etc.). Make questions out of the experiences and give a quiz at the party. Of course, you can adapt this game for family parties too.

How Many Gifts and Christmas Carol Pictionary are two more great ideas that will liven up the party.

Christmas parties are fun, but one thing you don't want is a dull party where everyone stands around bored. Try some of these games to liven things up and you'll soon get everyone to mix and mingle during your fun Christmas party.
