Holiday Safety at the Forefront

Practicing holiday safety this Christmas season.

Hi everyone; it’s Holiday Henry here to nag at ya with some Christmas safety reminders. Me and my family love the holiday decorations, but we also know that Christmas safety needs to be at the forefront each and every year. That’s why I’m going to review some Christmas safety tips with all of you.

First things first, don’t overload your electrical sockets. If you do you’re just asking for a fire. There’s nothing that annoys me more than seeing twenty different things plugged into one socket. Don’t do it.

Also, if you or your wife are anything like my wife, you love candles. Sure they’re pretty, but they’re also a fire hazard. If you’re gonna burn candles, do it right and make sure you don’t leave them unattended.

Another thing that’s known to cause fires is Christmas lights. Sure they’re pretty to look at, but make sure the ones you use are safe. The little mini lights give off barely any heat so those should be the lights on your home and your tree. The big lights from years ago get too hot and can cause your tree to light on fire.

Just follow these simple tips and I’ll be able to rest my head at night knowing that our friends are safe and sound and not sitting on a fire hazard. :-)
