Dangerous Toys to Avoid
Dangerous toys that you don’t want under your Christmas tree.
Hi everyone. Larry here. Every year you’ll find everyone and their brother talking about what toys to get your kids for Christmas. What’s more important is finding out which toys you shouldn’t get your kids. This year, W.A.T.C.H. has listed a number of dangerous toys on the market. I’m going to review them with you so you don’t make the mistake of putting dangerous toys under your tree this year.
Dangerous Toys #1 -- Baby Siena – Baby I’m Yours
This toy poses the most common of dangers -- a choking hazard. The doll comes with a bottle that comes apart and could cause a choking hazard.
Dangerous Toys #2 -- Camouflage Water Bomb Fun Kit
Unless you’re ready to risk severe eye injuries, you’ll steer clear of this toy. In essence, it’s a slingshot and is even illegal in many states.
Dangerous Toys #3 -- Animal Alley Ponies
This toy, while sold for infants, is definitely not suitable for them. The hair is not well rooted and can cause a choking, ingestion and/or aspiration hazard.
Dangerous Toys #4 -- Splatmatic Pistol Splat Paintball Shooter
This “toy” can cause serious injuries, shooting .50 caliber paintballs at very high speeds.
Dangerous Toys #5 -- City Blocks
There are choking hazards all over this play set, from the little beads to the slender dowel.
Dangerous Toys #6 -- Lord of the Rings Return of the King Uruk-Hai Crossbow Set
By shooting “arrows” at extremely high speeds, this toy poses a severely high risk of eye injury.
Dangerous Toys #7 -- Air Kicks Anti Gravity Boots
Even if wearing a helmet and protective gear, this toy poses a risk for broken bones and other severe injuries.
Dangerous Toys #8 -- Fisher Price Little Mommy Bath Baby Doll
The shampoo cap that comes along with this little doll poses a choking hazard.
Dangerous Toys #9 -- Fantastic 4 Electronic Thing Hands
While this toy is supposed to be used strictly for dress up and safe play, if a child should hit someone with these things, serious injury could occur.
Dangerous Toys #10 -- Star Wars Revenge of the Sith Energy Beam Blaster
Not only can the canister used with this thing explode if it gets too hot, the contents can cause eye injuries.
While these toys may seem to make great gifts on the surface and there’s probably one or two of them on your children’s holiday wish list, your best bet is to avoid them and avoid potential injury or tragedy.
