Christmas Stories Make the Season Brighter
Have you read any good Christmas stories lately?
Now that Christmas is drawing near, I’ve been telling my children the traditional Christmas stories each night before they go to bed. After all, what kind of holiday would it be without tales of Rudolph and Frosty? Have you told your children any good Christmas stories lately?
It’s Not Too Late to Start
If you haven’t started telling your children Christmas stories yet, it’s not too late to start. All children love the stories of the Grinch, the little drummer boy and our other holiday friends. After all, don’t they make the season a little more exciting and a bit more festive?
Each night before your child goes to bed, read them Christmas stories and watch their faces light up with delight. My daughter’s favorite is The Year Without Santa Clause and my son’s favorite is Frosty the Snowman. At this time of year I’m able to get them to rush to bed by promising them Christmas stories, whereas I usually have to fight with them to get them to head to their rooms at night.
