Charity at Christmastime
Why charity is so important during the holiday season.
Faith here. We all know that charity begins at home, but how many of us actually do our best to help others during the holiday season. While we are content to sit at home safe, warm and well-fed, how many others out there could use an extra blanket? A pair of mittens? How many honest, hard-working folks really need our charity to make the holiday season special?

I recommend that everyone take on a charity project for the holiday season. Whether it be donating to your local food bank, volunteering at a soup kitchen or donating hand-made goods to your local women’s shelter -- being charitable is what the Christmas season is all about. And if we lose sight of what the true reason for the season is, haven’t we lost site of everything?
This year when you have extra time or extra cash, why not devote it to a worthy charity? You’ll be helping others and it’ll make you feel good in the process. It’s a win-win situation for everyone. Here are some great charities and charity ideas:
